Writer-director Vishal Chaturvedi has been researching on Neem Baba Karoli Maharaj for the last 14 years. He has done some of the scenes in the film. With this film, he went to the door of various OTT platforms, after giving hours of time and did not hear from OTT producers. According to the current OTT peddlers, the kind of movies that Gen Z likes is contrary to the film made by director Vishal Chaturvedi about a father. But the blessings of Lord Rama, his servant Hanuman ji and Baba Karoli Maharaj have changed the mindset of the present generation. Anupriya Nagar is just 21 years old and studied economics in the UK. Writer-director Vishal Chaturvedi and two other financiers spent only 2 crore rupees to make the film 'Hanuman part' of Neem Karoli Baba. Writer director Vishal Chaturvedi used to make all the staff vegetarian and used to recite Hanuman Chalisa twice. There was a feeling of devotion towards Hanuman ji.

After the film was made, no OTT platform wanted to take the film, although some people were willing to pay more than 1 crore rupees.

Although the movie was released on August 7, 2026, it did not make an impression in the cinema halls for three weeks. No Bollywood star came forward to promote the film. Producer Anupriya Nagar met Bageshwar Baba and Premanand Ji Maharaj regarding this film and sought their blessings.

After 4 weeks, the film began to win the hearts of the audience. The film has already earned over Rs 240 crore. Producer Anupriya wants to spend the profits on the underprivileged children of India.

Hanuman 'part' is going to be a trilogy

After the unexpected success at the box office, 'Hanuman Ansh' is now going to be turned into a trilogy. Co-producer Namrata Singh recently revealed that the makers are already planning two sequels and it is expected that the third installment will take the scope of this story to the world stage.

In an interview, Namrata said that they had planned to make 'Hanuman Ansh' as a trilogy or three-part film from the beginning. While the first film traces the early period of Neem Karoli Baba's life in Kainchi Dham, Uttarakhand, the second part is expected to explore that chapter of his life in greater detail.

"Nothing has been written yet. It will take some time - at least a few months - for the team to sort out the whole thing or decide the next steps. Before that we need to take a break; we have not taken any such break in the last one and a half years. " He added that they had initially hoped to get some rest after the film's release.

The makers are now planning to take at least 90 days before resuming work on the next phase.

Meanwhile, the third film is planned to be made on a much larger scale and in an international context. According to Namrata, it will highlight the global influence of Neem Karoli Baba and his spiritual connections with several prominent international personalities.

The third film will show how he (Neem Karoli Baba) catapulted India on to the world stage by channeling spiritual energy among foreigners such as Steve Jobs, Mark Zuckerberg, Twitter founder Jack Dorsey, Julia Roberts and others. "

The film Hanuman Ansh is inspired by the life and teachings of Neem Karoli Baba - also known as' Maharaj-ji '. The devotional film explores themes such as faith, compassion, love, devotion and selfless service, while highlighting his spiritual journey.
